Objectives and contents

The project refers to the Agreement for technical-scientific collaboration activities pursuant to art. 15 of Law no. 241,  7 August 1990 for “Study and scientific research activities preliminary and necessary to the knowledge, interpretation and planning of the territory, to be used as the basis for the drafting of the Municipal Urban Plan and the relative Strategic Environmental Assessment, pursuant to art. 23 et seq. of Campania Regional Law no. 16, 22 December 2004” – Municipality of Camposano (NA).

The scientific consultancy activities developed by the CNR IRISS research group in collaboration with the Department of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II are aimed at carrying out urban, historical-architectural and evaluation studies supporting the elaboration of the Preliminary Municipal Urban Plan and the relative Preliminary Environmental Report.

The research activities envisage the application of an innovative methodology for the interpretation of the demand expressed by the territory in terms of identification and enhancement of territorial vocations and local development initiatives.

The objectives can be summarised as follows

• territorial analysis aimed at identifying transformative demand
• definition of local development strategies
• strategic environmental assessment
• development of a participatory methodology for and co-design of the municipal urban plan.
