Rosa Maria Giusto, PhD. in History and Criticism of Architecture, since 2018 she is a research fellow at IRISS-CNR within the project “Circular Models Leveraging Investments in Cultural Heritage Adaptive Re-Use (CLIC)” – HORIZON 2020 call on “Innovative Financing, Business and Governance Models for Adaptive Re-Use of Cultural Heritage”.

She participates in the research project PON IDEHA – “Innovations for data processing in the Cultural Heritage sector” and in the project AD MAIORA- “Design of a sustainable service system for the enhancement of cultural heritage. An innovative model for the Archconfraternities of Naples”.

Her main research interest’s concern: the analysis of the historical-architectural heritage; the interpretation, integrated conservation and enhancement, aimed at adaptive reuse, of the historical-architectural and cultural heritage of the UNESCO historic centre – Naples; the enhancement and use of the material and immaterial cultural heritage; the configuration of cultural itineraries.

She obtains the ASN for professor of II Fascia, S.S.D. “Restoration and History of Architecture” and is a member since 2013 of the Board of teachers of the “Nuevo Doctorado Internacional y de Excelencia de Estudios Avanzados en Humanidades”, de la Universidad de Malaga (Spain).

Since 2017, she is admitted among the members of the Network of Experts of the Junta de Andalucíia within the “Proyecto CEI Campus de Excelencia Internacional en Patrimonio, Patrimoniun10”.

She is editor-in-chief of the class A journal: “Studi e Ricerche di Storia dell’Architettura”, of the Society of Historians of Architecture in Italy -AISTARCH. The journal is in the index (ERIH PLUS) European Science Foundation.

She is editor of the magazine ‘Projecta56’ of the Universidad de Cádiz (Spain).

Author of monographs reviewed in Italy and abroad, she is a speaker at several national and international conferences and publishes essays in collective volumes, conference proceedings, scientific and class A journals.
