UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights has performed a broad global consultation aimed at developing an ambitious vision and roadmap for implementing the UNGPs more widely and more broadly between now and 2030.
June 2021 marks the 10th anniversary of the adoption by the Human Rights Council of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). For the occasion the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights has launched a new project to chart a course for a decade of action on business and human rights.
Accordingly, the Working Group has performed a broad global consultation with several stakeholders with the goal of taking stock of achievements to date, assessing gaps and challenges, and developing an ambitious vision and roadmap for implementing the UNGPs more widely and more broadly between now and 2030.
CNR-IRISS has contributed to the survey, with a document authored by Dr Marco Fasciglione, researcher and PI of the Corporate human rights and environmental due diligence and the promotion of COrporate REsponsibility (CORE) research programme.
