ELA Doctorate Workshop 2017, June 21st – June 24th 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland

The twenty-second ELA Doctorate Workshop will take place in Wroclaw, Poland, from June 21st – June 24th 2017 at the Wroclaw University of Economics. I would like to invite you to propose one doctoral student from your university, who could contribute to this workshop with an interesting doctoral research project within logistics. All fields of logistics in the broadest sense are of interest.

The nominated student is requested to prepare a three-page paper containing the stage of their doctorate research project (beginning, middle, end) and a brief description of the project (research objectives, methodology, expected results, list of references etc.) and submit the proposal before March 3rd 2017. The application should also include a short letter of recommendation from the PhD supervisor or Head of the Department (this letter can follow the proposal if necessary). The ELA Research Committee will evaluate the submitted papers and invite about 20 doctoral students to participate in the workshop. All the students have to prepare a formal presentation. The chairman and three other experienced logistics professors from Europe will participate as advisors and moderators during the workshop. Accommodation and meals will be free for all the invited doctoral students. Travel costs have to be paid by the participants themselves. The ELA doctorate workshop can be highly recommended. It is an excellent opportunity for doctoral students from all over Europe to meet and establish a valuable network. Students can get three ECTS. Il percorso di visita sperimentato in #ViaggiArte nel programma “Vivi nel ricordo”

Il percorso di visita del Cimitero delle Fontanelle tra virtuale e reale sperimentato con il progetto #ViaggiArte è proposto nuovamente al pubblico nell’ambito della manifestazione ‘Vivi nel Ricordo’
promossa dall’Assessorato alla Cultura e al Turismo in occasione della ricorrenza dei defunti.

Presso il Maschio Angioino, dal 28 ottobre al 5 novembre, negli orari di apertura del sito, il sistema di visita virtuale con il visore Oculus Rift permetterà di vivere un’emozionante esperienza di
immersione nell’area del Cimitero.

Il percorso di visita reale del Cimitero delle Fontanelle sarà accompagnato da un’app per smartphone
che consentirà di approfondire la conoscenza del sito in modo interattivo attraverso la realtà aumentata.

Contributo dell’IRISS al Piano d’Azione Nazionale su Impresa e diritti umani

Sono stati pubblicati sul sito del Comitato interministeriale sui diritti umani (CIDU) i contributi ricevuti in relazione alla consultazione pubblica sulla bozza di Piano d’Azione Nazionale su Impresa e diritti umani. Tra le istituzioni che hanno presentato le proprie osservazioni e raccomandazioni vi sono Amnesty International Italia, Confindustria. la Fondazione Sodalitas. L’IRISS-CNR ha presentato un contributo predisposto nell’ambito delle attività di ricerca del progetto Corporate human rights & environmental due diligence e la promozione della COrporate REsponsibility (CO.RE).
