Assunta Martone has been a researcher at CNR – IRISS since April 2006, where she works on topics such as sustainability reporting of public authorities, corporate social responsibility, socio-economic urban regeneration, enhancement of cultural heritage, Economics of happiness, cultural tourism and museum communication.
She earned a “laurea” degree in Business and Economics at Università di Napoli Federico II, where she obtained a Ph.D. in Engineering Management; attended some classes of Master in Business Administration at Purdue University USA. She is enrolled in the Italian registers of Certified Public Accountants and of Auditors. She has been actively involved in various study groups, such as the GBS – Gruppo di Studio sul Bilancio Sociale.
She collaborated with several Universities, and was also a lecturer at CIRAM and LUPT of Federico II and at the Local Police Regional School.
She was project manager for the Socio-economic Development Plan and Environmental Management System of a Park Authority, and has been involved in various research projects such as Activiti and Neoluoghi.
The activity developed on these research topics was presented at conferences in Italy and abroad and published in national and international books and journals.
