Alessandra Mancino is researcher at CNR – IRISS from 2002.
She has earned a degree in Economics at the University of Naples “Federico II” and a Doctoral degree in Business Administration at the University of Naples “Parthenope”.
Her research interests mainly concern the competitiveness of SMEs, entrepreneurship, resource-based local development, rural development and agricultural multifunctionality.
She has been involved in several international and national research projects, including: MedMySea- Mediterranean Myths and Sea; DIVINO – Innovative solutions for the communication of the distinctiveness of Italian wine on the international consumer market; Neoluoghi – Solutions for cultural experience in elective sites of surmodernity; Campus Innovazione QUARC: Quality of typical products of Campania and its territory: innovative and integrated approaches to enhance the competitiveness of the Agrifood sector.
Her scientific production consists of articles published in national and international scientific referred journals, including a Special Issue of the International Journal of Business and Globalization and The Services Industries Journal, as well as of papers published in Conference Proceedings, including Atlas Annual Conference, IASK Conference, Rent – Research in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Conference, and chapters of books, with national and international publisher.
