Fulvia Staiano is a postdoctoral researcher at CNR – IRISS in the Migrations and Development macro-area.
She holds a Ph.D. in Law and an LL.M. in Comparative, European and International Laws from the European University Institute of Florence.
Her research focuses on public international law and European Union law issues, with a special focus on international human rights law, immigration law and gender and the law.
Prior to her current role, she has been an Irish Research Council postdoctoral fellow at University College Cork.
In 2016, she has published her first monograph The Human Rights of Migrant Women in International and European Law (Giappichelli Editore – Eleven International Publishing).
