“EULab – Summer School on Labour Migration in the European Union” – Napoli, 7/16 Luglio 2020

EULab is the  Summer School on Labour Migration in the European Union of the Department of Law of University of Naples Federico II, in cooperation with the Institute for Research on Innovation and Services for Development of the National Research Council of Italy.

This project has been funded with the support of the Eramus+ Programme of the European Union.

EULab links the theoretical approach with in-depth practical insights of the everyday reality of migrant workers and of their actual enjoyment of socio-economic rights in the European Union.

EULab activities deals with the following main topics:

  1. The European Pillar of Social Rights;
  2. Migrant Workers’ Socio-Economic Rights;
  3. Migrant Workers in Agriculture;
  4. Migrant Domestic Workers.

Besides teaching activities, EULab Summer School will host two special events:

  • the Young Scholars Workshop, open to participants to the Summer School as well as to external academics and researchers under 35 years old. In this context, young scholars will be able to discuss crucial aspects of career development and strategies of communications of research outputs;
  • the Roundtable on Labour Migration, that aims at fostering the dialogue on current labour migration issues between the participants to the EULab, policy makers at local, regional and national level, and relevant stakeholders in this field. Such exchange of ideas will be open to the general public as well, raising issues of great importance for the civil society at large.

EULab Summer School is open to 30 postgraduate students in the fields of Law, International Relations and Social Science.
