Objectives and contents

SM@RTINFRA-SSHCH is a project in line with the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructure (ESFRI) and the EC-DG Research and Innovation (EC-DG R&I) Integrated Infrastructures Initiative. The general objective is the development and promotion of a coordinating body for the Italian entities which are part of the major European Research Infrastructures (RI) operating in the Social Sciences and Humanities and Cultural Heritage (SSHCH) sectors, such as CLARIN-ERIC, DARIAH-ERIC, CHARISMA, ESS-ERIC and SHARE-ERIC.
The role of CNR as Italian coordinator of the European RI in the SSHCH sectors, will contribute to: a) sharing scientific and human resources so as to rationalize investments in RI in an effective and efficient way; b) building bridges among experts in different disciplines to sustain synergies in dealing with scientific and technological themes.
The objectives of SM@RTINFRA-SSHCH will be achieved through the implementation of the following  seven Work Packages (WP):
